ermintrudes - exchange, is a pre loved baby goods shop.
Pre loved meaning second hand, nearly new, used, worn, goods for children under the age of 5 years. Boys and girls.
We also stock maternity wear.
Some of our items are given through donations - and are handed to health care proffesionals when they know of families who are finding it rather tough buying goods for their family. These items are given freely and no questions are ever asked. Some of the people visit are midwives, CPN's, health visitors and support workers from local charities.
We are not a charity shop by deed, but we are by our nature of business. Profits are kept very low and minimal so that families can shop and buy knowing that they haven't just blown the weekly housekeeping!
Our goods include, large equipment, like cots, high chairs, prams, buggies, baths, changing units but to name a few - right down to premature baby vests.
Most of all the clothing is bought by ermintrudes exchange, the rest of the goods in the shop are sold on a commission basis. The customer recieving 60% of the final sale price and the shop recieving 40%.
If you are a proffesional or offering goods to the shop then please contact us direct via the form. If you are donating goods you will have to fill in a DG1 form, to state that you are giving the goods up for the shop to give and use at our discretion.
